Why We Created Two New Diamond Drill Bits

The nail industry is constantly evolving.

Techniques improve, trends change, and experienced nail technicians are always refining the way they work. As educators and product developers, it's important that we evolve too.

We didn't want to create another drill bit for the sake of it.

We wanted to develop eFile drill bits that solved real problems during prep, helped improve precision, and made achieving beautiful, clean results feel even easier.

After countless conversations with our community, testing different shapes, and working closely with Lorna throughout the development process, these two bits quickly became stand-out favourites.

Meet The LP Diamond Cone

The LP Diamond Cone takes inspiration from the classic flame shape but has been refined to make cuticle prep even more controlled and effective.

It's designed to:

• Gently lift the proximal nail fold

• Open the lateral folds with precision

• Thoroughly clean the cuticle pocket

• Create the perfect foundation for long-lasting retention

The second addition fills another gap we kept hearing about.

The LP Polisher Barrel has been designed as a Russian manicure essential, helping refine and polish the cuticle area for an incredibly smooth finish before product application.

Its barrel shape makes it ideal for:

• Refining cuticle prep

• Smoothing the skin around the nail

• Creating a cleaner finish

• Supporting professional-looking results with minimal effort
