The LP Master Prep Workshop is an intensive 3-hour practical session designed for nail professionals who want to refine their nail preparation skills, improve product retention, and work with confidence using both eFile and manual tools.

This workshop goes beyond the basics, focusing on precision, control, and technique. Exceptional prep is the foundation of exceptional results.

Why the LP Master Prep Workshop

This is a hands-on practical workshop where you will learn how to perform advanced nail preparation to the highest standard.

Better prep means better product application. Knowing which drill bit to use, when to use it and how to use it correctly is key to creating flawless, long-lasting results.

You’ll work confidently with your eFile and manual tools, refining your techniques to achieve clean, precise, and consistent prep every time.

What you will learn in the workshop:

• How to select the correct diamond dust drill bit for different size nail plates
• How to identify and confidently work with ceramic and carbide drill bits for nail prep
• Precision cuticle work using both an eFile and manual tools
  
• Advanced drill bit techniques, including opening the cuticle pocket
  
• How to refine and polish side walls with precision and control 
• The eFile, how it works, the different parts and speed settings
• When and how to use different drill bits, including RPM control, correct angles, and safe techniques
• How to work safely over the natural nail, removing non-living tissue, creating the perfect nail preparation for product application
  
• How and when to use sanding bands and the benefits these can have over the standard nail file
• How to safely clean your eFile and drill bits
• Hygiene, Health & Safety - best practices when working with an eFile 
  
  

What you will need for your course:

• eFile Machine - Any brand is fine, we recommend the LP eFile as it has the latest technology, a digital display & brushless motor
• Prep drill bits, we recommend the LP Perfect Prep Kit as a minimum
• Your manual prep tools, Cuticle Nippers and a Pusher as a minimum
• Product-free nails
